Uncustomary is a literal and metaphorical bright rainbow in my life. Seeing Uncustomary live her life and share her joy and struggles... she is who my middle school self dreamed of. Sometimes life feels filled with teen angst and despair and sometimes life feels like I am trudging through and get to a point of hope and sunshine and butterflies. Visiting with Mary and taking several classes with her I feel like she isn't just floating above everything. She isn't naive or inexperienced or ignorant to life. She acknowledges hardships AND beauty and gives great reframes and questions. I am so honored that she responds to my questions and musings and I look forward to focusing on keeping life colorful with her help. I am so grateful for the fun and lightness and love she can bring to sometimes heavy topics. Thank you!

Working with Mary wasn’t work at all! She helped me via coaching for my creative brand Wanda Petunia. Mary is uplifting and inspiring as a coach and human!! She offered practical, helpful ideas and inspiration to grow my creative brand. I’ve purchased her book and cards… I love following her videos! Mary is a true treasure, and I highly recommend her - to follow, join her classes and for coaching!!

Mary has a unique and special way of helping people feel seen, understood, and at ease. Her events are eclectic and well-organized. When I attended my first event, I felt as though I was walking into the home of an old friend (although we had never met before). I left feeling connected and inspired. Mary also sends the loveliest of postcards that put smiles on my face. Looking forward to more and highly recommend!
