Linktree's new tools for YouTube creators make it easier to connect directly with viewers, keep video content current, and personalize what audiences see next.
Building an audience on YouTube is one thing. Staying connected to that audience beyond the next upload, notification, and algorithmic recommendation is another.
Today, we’re launching a new and improved suite of tools built specifically for YouTube creators, designed to make it easier to showcase their content, create a new direct line between creators and their audience, and personalize their Linktree based on where a visitor arrives from.
At the center of the launch is Messaging, a new way for Linkers to connect directly with their audience through Linktree. Alongside it, we’re introducing an improved YouTube connection that automatically keeps creators’ content displayed on their Linktree fresh, as well as Rules, which helps Linkers show visitors a more relevant next step based on where they came from.

These tools are built on the simple idea that YouTube creators should have the resources to build owned relationships with their audience without adding more to manage.
"YouTube is where creators build attention. Linktree is where they turn it into something that lasts. For the first time, we're building specifically for YouTubers. With our new YouTube features, Linkers can showcase their latest content, grow an audience they own and unlock new ways to earn, all from one link. I’m thrilled to continue our investment in building for these creators.” — Alex Zaccaria, co-founder and CEO, Linktree
YouTube gives creators an incredible place to share content and build an audience, but most fan-to-creator communication happens in the comments. Today, there’s no easy way to continue that conversation directly. Linktree Messaging changes that.
When a visitor lands on a creator’s Linktree, they can choose to send them a message — whether that’s a fan reaching out, a brand interested in collaborating, or someone asking about a service or for a link. When they do, the creator receives a message in their Linktree inbox and can continue building that connection. With the visitor’s approval, they’re added to the Linker’s Audience Manager as a subscriber, so the creator can stay in touch. Linktree Messaging helps creators manage their messages as conversations grow:
“Linktree has become the home base for my audience, no matter where they find me. It gives me one place to point people to my most recent content, and I can actually make the page feel like mine. I’ve been able to carry the movie theater theme of my content through to my Linktree in a way I couldn’t with other landing pages.” – Coco Mocoe, host of "The Middle Row with Coco Mocoe"
Creators already have enough to do every time they publish a new video, and updating Linktree should no longer be on the list.

The improved YouTube-connected link makes it easier to manage how your content appears on Linktree. Creators can highlight their latest upload or a specific playlist, showcasing videos visually. Now, creators can also filter between Shorts and long-form content, and sort what visitors see by recency or popularity. Most importantly, once it’s set up, new content can update automatically. Publish a new YouTube video, and your Linktree can keep pace without manually swapping out links every time something goes live.
“My audience finds me in so many different ways, so I like knowing there’s one place they can go and easily see what I’ve been making lately. It keeps everything current without adding another task to my workflow.” – Blake Jennings, comedian, streamer, and opera singer
Not every visitor arrives at a Linktree from the same destination, so they shouldn’t necessarily see the same thing.
With Rules, creators can tailor what visitors see based on the platform or location they came from, letting them be more intentional about where they send their YouTube audience. For example, creators can hide content from someone arriving from YouTube or other social channels, allowing them to direct visitors' attention from one channel to another.
“YouTube has always been the main place where I connect with my audience, but Linktree Messaging gave us another way to keep that connection going. People reach out about everything from books and recommendations to beauty and lifestyle, and I love having a space where those conversations can feel a little more direct.” – Ana Wallace Johnson
The new features for YouTubers are available now. Messaging, including Spotlight and Stacks, is free for all Linkers. Rules is available for Premium Linkers, while some YouTube-connected link features may require authentication or a Pro plan, depending on the Linker’s profile setup.
