Why did I receive a notice of non-compliance?

We sent you a notice because you or another driver of a vehicle owned or rented by you was in a facility without proper approval or in breach of the terms and conditions. When you entered the facility and remained past the grace period, you agreed to use the facility in compliance with the facility’s rules and conditions.

Can I dispute the notice?

Yes. If you feel like your notice was sent to you in error, please request a dispute, where you will enter your notice number and supply the requested information. We will review the materials and work to resolve the issue with you.

Is this a parking fine or parking fee?

Accepted Answer

No, PRRS does not set or collect parking fees and does not issue parking fines. This notice of non-compliance was issued by PRRS to you for unauthorized use and/or trespassing on the facility. PRRS is an operating company and is responsible for managing compliance with the facility rules.

What if I don’t pay the notice?

Accepted Answer

Failure to pay in a timely manner may result in PRRS taking additional action, including, but not limited to, referring your case to collections or other legal processes. If you believe the notice was issued in error, please submit your dispute so we can resolve, otherwise please pay the non-compliance fee to resolve the matter.

I paid to park and have a copy of the receipt why did I receive a notice of non-compliance?

Sometimes the parking payment providers are delayed in sending approved facility use data or processing the payment. When PRRS evaluated your vehicle for compliance, the data may not have been received from the parking provider.

As soon as we receive the data from the payment provider, PRRS will automatically dismiss the notice. Check the status of the notice by clicking on the Pay Notice – your notice may already be resolved.

If you have a receipt from a parking operator or parking payment app, submit a copy of the receipt via our online dispute form.  The receipt should show the location name, date and time of approved use and the license plate associated to the permit via our online dispute. We will confirm the data and dismiss the notice.

I paid to park but I see I made error in entering my license plate, what can I do?

We realize people make mistakes and we will be glad to help you resolve the error. Please submit a copy of the receipt from the parking operator or parking payment app via our online dispute form.  The receipt should show the location name, date and time of approved use and the license plate associated to the permit via our online dispute.  We will confirm the data and dismiss the notice.  If there is not another vehicle with the plate on your receipt in the facility at the same time, we will dismiss your notice.

I am a monthly parker and had an active permit during the time I was on the facility

Please send us a copy of your monthly permit and a receipt or proof of payment for the monthly permit.

Question 14

I have a handicap placard and am supposed to receive free parking.

Accepted Answer

While some cities will allow holders of handicap placards to park for free in on-street parking spaces, private facilities will provide a handicap space, but they expect the user to pay for the use of the facility and follow all other facility rules. If you have a handicap placard please call us or submit a dispute so we can assist in resolving the notice with you.

I went to a local business and was told my parking was free or I validated the parking with the facility

Accepted Answer

If you believe the business provided the parking for you, please contact the business to confirm they registered your vehicle to use the facility. If the business made an error, they can contact PRRS and we will resolve the notice with them.

Why do you write these Notices on your parking lot?

We are a service that monitors and manages parking lots, garages, toll booth lanes, etc. for the property and asset owners. We work with the facilities to set the hours of operation, rules and regulations and requirements to register appropriately on each property. We monitor activity on the facility and when we identify a vehicle using the facility that is not registered or in breach of the terms of use, we issue a notice of non-compliance.

I paid for parking and have a receipt showing it, but still received a Notice?

Please check your Notice and confirm the time you started and ended your parking. If your paid parking allocated time expired and you had not left yet, you will receive a Notice for an expired registration. If you believe the notice was issued in error, please submit a dispute and we will review your concerns.
