Owen Brosanders

Owen Brosanders is a Tucson-based climate advocate and youth leader who has turned student activism into real-world impact. As Co-Lead of Arizona's Youth Climate Coalition, he led the passage of the most comprehensive school climate action resolution in U.S. history, while making history as the first student ever appointed to a major school district committee where he now votes on $480 million in infrastructure decisions affecting 47,000 students. From working for political campaigns that raised over a million dollars to mentoring 700+ youth through leadership programs, Owen proves that young voices can create lasting change. When he's not lobbying at the state capitol or facilitating town halls with hundreds of students, you'll find him rock climbing in the desert mountains or leading wilderness adventures
