This work reflects on the relationship between body, space, and identity within contemporary image production. It is based on a photographic series taken with a 2010 Sony Cyber-shot camera and edited using basic software, positioning it within an analog-digital tension. The images depict a female body in the domestic space of the kitchen, a site historically charged with social and political meaning. Rather than neutral, it becomes a space of silent violence, repetition, and constraint, where the body appears conditioned and confined. This repetition connects to the performative intensity of Diamanda Galás and the body-as-conflict in Gina Pane. The grainy black-and-white aesthetic rejects digital perfection, embracing instability and distortion, echoing Zdzisław Beksiński. Elements like the cigarette introduce rupture and resistance, recalling Lydia Lunch. The nude body refuses eroticization, engaging with abjection and persistence rather than liberation.
