Yes. As a certified Working Genius facilitator, I love helping organizations understand their primary & secondary sub-/function(s), who their team players are, how each player best operates, and the most ideal "dynamics" layup to ensure a team's operational longevity and success!

Where is your physical office located?

I have a couple on-campus locations… one office closer to the buildings where pharmacy students meet for class, and the other office closer to where most biology, chemistry, physics, etc. students are taught. Refer to your actual syllabus for more accurate, relevant information.

Are you still a clinical pharmacist?

Yes! But to answer your deeper question, I don't currently work the usual 9-to-5 setup in a typical setting like a community pharmacy or hospital.

Why did you "quit" pharmacy work?

Personal decision! Many aspects of the field bored me to death. To be honest, I got into it for all the wrong reasons. However, I absolutely enjoy teaching topics related to science, medicine & healthcare, as well as career preparation and professional development.

What's your current job?

I serve as a Visiting Lecturer / Lecturing Professor for the Alamo Colleges District, as well as the Partnership & Outreach Coordinator — via OneStar AmeriCorps VISTA — for Cavalry United, a project management non-profit based in SA. I'm also a co-developer of Generation E, a forthcoming CTE program geared toward next-generation students and workforce professionals.

What year did you begin teaching?

2018… when I moved back to SA after enjoying ~5 years of East Coast living during my post-graduate studies. Once I earned my doctorate in 2017, I felt a return to TX was necessary — and upon RPh licensure, I started teaching allied health and general healthcare courses.

I'm working on several things right now [while balancing toddler life with two crazy boys]! The Mrs. & I can't wait to share these things very soon!

Soon! Like 2026 soon. I get this question constantly… and all I can say is that the world of realty will forever be something I'm extremely passionate about! If you want me to be your buying and/or listing agent, you'll have to wait just a bit longer. I promise — the wait will be worth it!
