We are a student-led racing team at UoB that design, build, and race an ultra-efficient car. We compete in the Shell Eco-marathon, and our goal is to contribute to a more sustainable future, help our members develop key skills, and to have fun along the way.

What is the Shell Eco-marathon?

The Shell Eco-marathon is a global competition where student teams design, build, and race ultra efficient vehicles. 
The goal of the competition is to develop a vehicle that travels the farthest distance on the least amount of energy.

Who can join Brum Eco Racing?

Any student at UoB can join. We welcome students from all years, courses, and backgrounds. You don’t need prior engineering experience, and there is no recruitment process; just bring curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
