Question 2

Do you offer trial classes?

Accepted Answer

We are regulated by the US Army CYS rules. This means that to protect privacy and maintain health standards, we can not offer trial classes. We do have Open House multiple times in a season where children and parents can come met the faculty and staff and participate in a fun dance class. Our next one is August 21, 2026!

Question 3

Are uniforms required?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Proper dance attire allows instructors to safely observe alignment and technique while creating a polished classroom environment.
* All required uniforms and dancewear are purchased online through our website.
* Please ensure your dancer wears the correct leotard, tights, shoes, and any required skirt or shorts for their class level.
* Dance shoes should be kept in a dance bag when not in use and clearly labeled with your dancer's name.
* Please do not wear ballet slippers, jazz shoes, or tap shoes outside. Outdoor surfaces damage the shoes, track dirt onto our dance floors, and significantly shorten the life of your dancewear.
* Wear sandals, flip-flops, or sneakers over dance shoes when arriving and departing.
Tip Toes & Taps Families:
 classes begin in tap shoes.

Question 4

Are parents allowed in their childʻs class?

Accepted Answer

We do everything possible to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children. Most children do really well on their own, basking in their newfound independence. Under no circumstance will we allow a child to remain unhappy in class. Our pre-school teachers are moms with a combined 53 years of teaching experience and 44 years of parenting experience. If we feel that the student would be best served with a caregiver in the room, we will come and get you! Parents are NOT allowed to enter without invitation however.

We are also happy to accept and encourage students of all abilities, some of which may need a bit of support from a caregiver, RBT or OT. That is absolutely welcomed. Please email aleciaballerina@gmail.com to discuss how we can best support your student!
