Each four pound loaf can yield between 14-16 bars depending on how it is cut. I can cut it for you if you choose, but if you do not specify that you would like the loaf cut, you will receive it uncut.The method of soap-making I use is called hot process. The soap is made in a large slow cooker, which takes a few hours. After the soap is made it is ready to use immediately after it has cured for 24 hours and cut. This is quite different from cold process, since cold process soap has a 6-8 week curing period. The soap may also be softer than you are used to (if you normally order cold processed soap) once you receive it. If you prefer your bars to be harder, all you need to do is cut them (if not already cut) and leave them out to dry for a few days. The soap will made with the following ingredients:Olive OilCoconut OilPalm OilAlmond OilAvocado OilShea ButterDistilled WaterSodium Hydroxide (lye)Color, mica or oxide pigment (I will choose an appropriate color for the fragrance you chose, but if you would like your loaf uncolored, please let me know)Fragrance of your choiceIf you desire particular oils to be used in the making of the soap (for example: cocoa butter, castor oil, etc.), please feel free to message me and ask first. I will let you know if I have the particular oil(s) you want on hand.Please note that every single loaf is handmade upon order, nothing is pre-stocked, in order to ensure the freshest possible product for my customers. My turnaround time can vary between 1-3 weeks, so please e-mail me if you'd like to know my current turnaround time. I am very responsive by email! :) Once shipped, your loaf will arrive between 2-3 days as I always ship by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.

Custom Soap Loaf - 4lbs

Have you ever wanted to make your own soap, but do not want to work with lye? Working with my rebatch soap shreds will eliminate that part of the process, and you'll be able to get to the fun stuff.... adding fragrance and color to the soap! And if you prefer your soap all natural, you do not need to add fragrance and color. Just melt down the soap and glop it into molds. Wait about 24 hours to unmold the soap, and you can use it right away. You do not need to wait 6-8 weeks for the soap to cure, because the lye has already been cooked out of the soap. The soap shreds are made just like all my handmade soap, and then hand-shredded with a dedicated grater specifically for shredding soap. Shredding the soap makes it easier to work with, and easier to melt down. I will include instructions with each order. The instructions use the "Crock Pot Rebatch" soap making method, but there are many other ways to melt down the soap, and you may have a different preference. I have several varieties to choose from. You will receive TEN POUNDS of the type of soap you choose. The base ingredients for each type include: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter, distilled water, and sodium hydroxide (cooked out in my process). The Pet Safe rebatch is made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Almond Oil, Sunflower Oil, Shea Butter, distilled water and sodium hydroxide.

Rebatch Soap Shreds - Make Your Own Soap!

Do you have a fundraiser or craft fair coming up? You can order a full box of my handmade soap, and re-sell at fundraisers and fairs. Each medium flat rate Priority Mail box includes approximately 28-32 bars of soap, packaged in pairs and labelled with the name and ingredients of the soap, and no branding. You can add your own labels yourself to include your school name, charity organization, etc. Soap fragrances are chosen by me, and depends on what I have on hand at any given time. If you have an aversion to a particular type of scent, you can let me know in a note at checkout, and I will make sure not to include that particular type of scent. I try not to include more than two packs (4 bars) of the same fragrance per box, so that customers get a variety. Suggested price is up to $4.50 per bar, or $8 per pack.

Full Box of Handmade Soap

This soap is made with Mermaid Kisses fragrance, and cut into four FULL SIZED bars! No guest/sample sized soap here. Each bar is 4 oz each. Mermaid Kisses fragrance smells like the ocean combined with feminine florals. It begins with top notes of ocean mist, sea moss, and dewy cyclamen petals; followed by middle notes of geranium flower, water mint, and coriander seed; sitting on base notes of white cedarwood and earthy vetiver.
