📍 Can I get supervision outside of work?
Yes! Just submit a Supervision Plan + a letter from your employer approving outside supervision.

💻 Is virtual supervision approved in Texas?
Yes! Both individual and group supervision via video/teleconference are fully approved by the Texas State Board.

• MSW – University of Maryland, Baltimore
• BS in Psychology – Xavier University of Louisiana


Dr. Mia specializes in individual and couples therapy, with a focus on supporting sexual and relationship minorities including polyamorous, ENM, kink/BDSM, and LGBTQIA+ communities. She has extensive clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr. Mia has served as a faculty member at Texas Woman’s University, the University of Texas at Arlington, and the University of North Texas where she has taught courses in Diversity, African-American Studies, and Clinical Therapy.
