How to use the email signature generator
Learn more about our Email signature generator
Every email you send is a chance to show people who you are and where to find you. A clear signature does that in a few lines, so people can call you, visit your site or follow you without searching.
Type your details, add your links and choose a template. The preview updates as you go. When it looks right, copy the signature and paste it into your email settings.
What to put in an email signature
Start with your name, job title and company. Add the one or two contact details people actually use, like a phone number or website. Every extra line makes the important ones harder to spot.
Social icons work best when you pick the accounts you keep up to date. A single Linktree link can stand in for the rest, because it gathers all your links on one page.
Photos, logos and icons
Email apps don't keep images that live on your computer, so a photo or logo needs a public link, like the image address of your profile photo or the logo on your company site. Without one, the signature shows a coloured block with your initials.
The social icons are small images hosted by Linktree, so they show up for everyone who opens your email.
Will it work in my email app?
The signature is built with simple tables and inline styles, which is what Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail display most reliably. Use Copy signature to paste it as formatted text. If your app asks for code instead, use Copy HTML.
Some apps block images until the reader allows them. Your name, details and links are text, so they still show.

Yes. You can make and copy as many signatures as you like, with no sign-up.
How do I add my signature to Gmail?

How do I add my signature to Outlook?
Copy the signature, then open Outlook settings and find Signatures under Mail or Compose and reply. Create a new signature, paste it in, then save.
How do I add my signature to Apple Mail?
Copy the signature, then open Mail settings and choose Signatures. Add a new signature, paste it in, then turn off Always match my default message font so your styling stays.
How do I add a photo or logo?
Paste a link to an image that's already online, like the image address of your profile photo or your company logo. The link has to start with https://. If you leave it empty, the signature shows your initials instead.
Why don't my images show?
Some email apps hide images until the reader allows them. Check that your image link opens in a private browser window, because images behind a login won't show for anyone else.
