No, when applied properly, tooth gems will not damage your tooth enamel. They are bonded with dental-grade adhesive, same materials used by the dentist for fillings and do not require drilling.

Can I still brush and floss with a tooth gem?

Yes! Just brush and floss as usual. Be gentle around the gem, and avoid using an electric toothbrush directly on it. I tell people to brush at a 45 degree angel and brush your gum line and avoid the gem completely if you can.

Yes. Most foods and drinks are safe. However, avoid biting hard foods directly with the gem tooth and stay away from sticky candies or chewing gum to prolong wear. Carrots, apples, pistachios are all not recommended. Cut up your fruit or veggies before eating.
