To save space on the main page, this is a separate tool which provides much more detailed location information for each walk.

This includes Google Maps and what3words links for the start points, as well as GPX files for fancy navigation apps and devices!

When you load a Google Maps link, ignore the preview which pops up, and scroll down to the button which lets you "Get Directions" or view on the map. This is because some of the locations are too rural to have an address, so Google can't provide an accurate preview.

Stuck with GPX files?

Router app link

Regular devices like phones and laptops won't usually open GPX files without extra software being installed.

Sometimes, your device may even think GPX is a type of software developers' file format, which means it may open with a coding tool instead of a mapping app.

There are lots of apps which will let you open these files correctly, and then you will see a GPS trace of each route, which can be handy for planning, as well as navigation when you have limited internet access. I would still recommend you download or print each map, so you have a secondary copy.

To open these files on my laptop, I usually use the Router app. I have no links with this app and only recommend it in good faith. You can see the Mac App Store link here...
