What's included in a typical Ladakh motorcycle tour package?

Most packages cover motorcycle rental, accommodation (usually in hotels or camps), some meals (often breakfast and dinner), support vehicle (for luggage and mechanics), and a tour guide.  Some might also include permits for restricted areas like the Khardung La pass.  Carefully check the inclusions before booking.

We provide Royal Enfield Himalayan 411. You may wish to upgrade to the more powerful Himalayan 450 at additional cost or choose the Classic 350s

Accomodations in Leh are generally hotels, but as you go far, we provide camps that are comfortable to stay and trust us you will love them.

What about food during the tour?

Our tour is on MAP basis, i.e. you get breakfast and dinner. Lunch will be enroute to the places we travel. Anything extra that you would like to have will be chargeable and have to be paid before you checkout of the place.

What kind of gear should I bring for the tour?

Safety is the most important thing in Ladakh. No matter if you forget a few pair of clothes or a few memory cards or phone chargers. We give a free helmet but we strongly recommend to carry your own. Also, you get an option to add riding gears like Jackets, Knee guards, gloves at a nominal cost.

How do I deal with altitude sickness in Ladakh?

Ladakh is at a high altitude, and altitude sickness is common.  Acclimatize gradually upon arrival in Leh. Drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous activity initially, and consider consulting a doctor about altitude sickness medication.  Inform your tour operator if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Is it safe to ride a motorcycle in Ladakh?

Riding in Ladakh can be challenging due to the terrain and weather.  But we take care as we have experienced tour guides, but ride cautiously, follow traffic rules, and be aware of your surroundings.  Ride in a group and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.  We are there for your support but again Ride cautiously.
