A lovely property surrounded by forests, the dining area is on two floors - indoor dining at ground-level, ideal for cold days; a spacious second floor area in three parts - a covered space with floor to ceiling glass walls, a sundeck for sunny days, and a wooden counter looking over the valley, ideal for solo diners. The views of the valley to the north of Bataghat are superb. The forests around the property is filled with birdsong and lovely green parrots flitting around. The menu is sizeable and has both veg and non-veg dishes. There is a separate beverage menu of hot and cold beverages, which includes shakes, coffee, mocktails and teas of various kinds. Lovers of Vietnamese coffee will be delighted to find both the hot and cold variety here. It was lunch time and I was feeling peckish, after a long walk in the sun from Landour, so I ordered a strawberry shake to cool myself and a dal tadka and a madua roti. The dal tadka came in a pot and was sizeable, good enough for tea. It was delicious and went well with the madua roti. The strawberry shake too was well made! After the lunch, I ordered a pahadi chai, rich in spices, the best tea I've had in Mussoorie and Landour. This is a place to linger and relax. Try and come beyond meal times, as it can get crowded pretty quickly.
The place is surrounded by beautiful trees! The view is breathtaking. We ordered different drinks and especially the cinnamon frappe was very tasty! The surrounding view is the main USP for the place.<br>You can sit and chill while being surrounded by nature.
The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The food was yum. I have tried their vanilla frappe, Cafe latte, cold coffee, pizza, cheese sandwich and pahadi breakfast. My favourite was pahadi breakfast it felt so homely and comforting. Do check out this place you will really enjoy. Also there’s a book section.
