The Change Made with Sid Naidu

Sid Naidu is a photojournalist, documentarian and founder of Change Made. As a first-generation immigrant, he has spent two decades documenting culture, community and change from Scarborough to the world. He co-founded Scarborough Made in 2019, a documentary collective that championed storytelling in Toronto's East. Over the span of the 5 years, he produced numerous public art installations and youth mentorship opportunities. This work laid the foundation for Change Made, which focuses on long-form visual journalism and solutions-driven reporting on culture, climate, and social change.

The Cultural Hotspot shines a spotlight on the creativity, culture, and community spirit of Scarborough’s KGO neighbourhood in 2026 and 2027. Artists and organizations will animate the community through exciting workshops, events, exhibitions, activities and more.
