Can i turm up at any time to drop-off my confidential waste?

We require all customers to pre booked a 15 minute time slot to drop-off their waste.

Can i collect the shredding sacks from Secure Shred myself?

Accepted Answer

Our audited process means for all initial orders we post the sacks to your address.

If you need additional sacks in preparation for an already arranged collection/drop-off, you can order an additional package of sacks to be posted out prior to your collection/drop-off.

If you have placed an initial order but you plan on clearing out your confidential waste bit by bit, you can collect more sacks in person on the day of your initial drop-off appointment in reediness for following appointments.

How much paper can the shredding sacks hold?

Accepted Answer

Each sack can hold 15 kilos of waste (about one and a half bin liners)

We recommend filling our sacks two thirds to the top to achieve this weight before appropriately sealing them ready for collection/drop-off.

When it comes to drop-off services, It is important to consider the weight of the sacks as you are filling them so that you are personally comfortable moving and transporting to your vehicle for your drop-off appointment.
