My son aged 11 has been coming to Scott for a while now. Scott is truly an excellent guitar teacher! Patient, inspiring, and incredibly skilled. Every lesson is productive and motivating, and the improvement over time is undeniable. My son finds it difficult to concentrate but Scott has got to know him well and keeps him focused.

I would highly recommend Scott for any age.

Scott is a great guitar teacher for our daughter. He is patient and explains everything very clearly. Lessons are broken up into different parts of teaching skills and playing songs and our daughter really enjoys them. I would recommend Scott if your child or grown up is thinking about lessons!

As a complete beginner, I couldn’t have asked for a better guitar tutor than Scott. He has a brilliant way of breaking everything down into simple, manageable steps that make learning feel genuinely achievable. His patience is endless, his explanations are clear, and he always knows how to keep lessons fun and motivating.

What I appreciate most is how he adapts to my pace — never rushing, never overwhelming, just guiding me with confidence and encouragement. Every session feels like real progress, and I’m now playing things I never thought I’d manage.

If you’re starting from scratch and want someone who’s supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about teaching, Scott is the perfect choice. Highly recommended.

My two boys (Aged 7 and 9) have been attending Scott's lessons for a couple of months now.

Both are absolutely loving it and are making great progress. Scott is a great teacher - he's particularly good with the kids - very patient, keeps them interested and also does a great job of keeping you updated with how they are progressing.

Highly recommended.

My son started guitar lessons with Scott about 10wks ago and he his loving it. Scott has a great way with his  pupils ,he's always friendly ,encouraging and gives great advice, I would recommend Scott without  hesitation for anyone wanting guitar lessons .

Great tutor , my daughter who is 7 is really enjoying her lessons so far and getting to learn songs she wants to play while learning in a fun environment
