Somali cuisine is not just about meat. Some of our most comforting dishes are completely plant based, full of flavour and tradition.

Bariis Iyo Spinach
Fragrant Somali rice with our signature Xawaash spices, paired with sautéed spinach. Light, aromatic and full of depth.

Soor Iyo Spinach
A true East African staple. Soft cornmeal served with seasoned spinach. Simple, comforting and deeply traditional.

Nafaqo
A nourishing mix of mashed sweet potato, spinach and vegetables. Balanced, wholesome and satisfying.
Each dish is served with Sabayaad flatbread, sautéed vegetables, salad and the signature Somali banana for that perfect sweet and savoury contrast.

Parking:
On street parking is available at both locations. This maybe paid at certain times so please check signs. For Acton we recommend using the Oaks Car park opposite, please check signs for free and paid timing.

Start with
Sambusa or Bajiyo, freshly prepared and served with our signature bisbaas and shidney sauces;

Follow with
Haniid, our slow-cooked lamb, rich in Xawaash spices

Alongside
Somali rice or Pasta

Finish with
Somali Tea (Shaah), infused with cardamom and warming spices. For Dessert try our Timir 'Love' Cake, our daily baked date cake.

Traditionally, Somali meals are enjoyed with banana, balancing savoury flavours with subtle sweetness. The banana is eaten with the food (yes that's right, break it into small pieces and eat along side the meat & rice)

We use the same preparation areas, grills, ovens, fryers, and storage spaces across our menu.
