Riverlife

Riverlife creates, activates and celebrates Pittsburgh's riverfronts, connecting people through exceptional places and experiences. We also operate Shore Thing, a free-to-enjoy public programming barge on the Allegheny River -- offering more than 70 free events and programs every summer. We’re raising $30 million to fund the first phase of Riverlife’s award-winning Completing the Loop plan, which calls for a comprehensive connected system of parks, trails, and green spaces that will be accessible to all and infused with unique experiences.
