How can I start?

In order to participate, all you have to do is show up to a practice and sign our waiver! We have everything you might need, including weapons and shields for new fighters to borrow. We recommend that you wear clothes that are easy to move in and bring water, as well as a fighting spirit!

When and where are the practices?

Accepted Answer

We have practice every Saturday at 11am and every Monday at 5pm. If it is raining we fight under the covered area at Kid’s Kingdom in Enterprise Park, and if it is not raining we fight at Caldwell Park. All practices are announced in the Discord server or on our Facebook page. The exact location at Caldwell park will also be announced on Facebook or Discord.

What if I just want to watch?

If you’re interested in the sport but not quite comfortable with fighting for any reason, we would absolutely still love to see you come out and watch! There are many other facets to the sport that dont involve fighting, such as crafting, photography, and heralding (a.k.a reffereeing) to name a few! And if you’d rather just sit and watch that’s perfectly acceptable and we would love to see you at a practice!

Do I have to roleplay and wear fantasy outfits to join?

Roleplay and medieval garb are not a requirement to join. Some events that we may go to out of town or host will require you to wear clothes that are unobtrusive to the medieval aesthetic but during practices all we expect is for you to dress comfortably and in a way that will not endanger you or another person on the field. No one will force you to roleplay either, although some people do enjoy playing ‘in-character’.
