・Photoscape X for resizing/misc

Tablet:
・Wacom Cintiq 13hD (since 2017)
・Wacom Bamboo One (2013-2017)

For Animatics:
・Clip Studio Paint Pro
・(Instagram's) Edits 
・YouCut Video Editor for effects/interpolating frames
As I make very simple animatics, ~95% of my animatics are put together in the Edits app.

Question 3

Why are JotS updates so short?

I draw (draft+lineart+color), write, and market this series entirely on my own, so making 40+ panel updates is impossible. Additionally, I undergo physiotherapy for my right arm+shoulder. My condition (tendonitis and a score of issues related to muscle overuse over the last 10 years) forces me to draw slower than before and with far more breaks in between. Lastly, a lot of mainstream webtoons have entire teams of artists and writers working on them, whereas I'm just one person. So I thank you for your patience.

How can I support your art?

Reading, subscribing to, and engaging with my series on the Webtoon app really helps. Playing ads to unlock ad-locked episodes helps financially support the series (as annoying as ads can be, TYSM for putting up with them if you do).

How long have you been making comics?

I began making original comics in April 2015, and for the next few years it became a hobby that kept me sane. I'm forever grateful to all of my early readers, their kind words and support helped me learn so much along the way. As for now, I decided to pursue comics and art full-time towards the end of 2023.

・JLPT N1+N2 at Kudan Institute of Japanese Language (attempted and cleared N1 in 2021)

Art was one of my subjects in highschool (ISC), and I promised my art teachers that I'd never stop drawing.

Opinion on AI "art"?

Accepted Answer

Absolute insult to the humanity of art.
I see the argument for AI being a tool to be used in art/animation, or for people to use it in filters with their own photos. But my issue lies with non-artists and scammers using AI to 'make' art and then selling it as 'artists'. Not to mention the atrocious ethics behind training Generative AI, be it art or literature. 
Please support human artists and in particular, traditional artists and craftspeople in your region.
AI in science/medicine/forensics? Sure, with caution.
AI being used to "make" art/creative writing to be sold? It's just the new face of a long line of scams and con-artistry.
