Firstly, throughout my time working at SAMU, I was exposed to many initiatives. Many students are unaware of the opportunities available to them, including scholarships, Peer Support groups, Student Advocacy, and much more. My goal is to make these resources more visible, accessible, and easier to navigate, while advocating for new initiatives that benefit students both now and in the future.

Secondly, my experience as Vice President of MacEwan’s FEM-STEM Club has taught me the value of creating connections with like-minded people. University can be isolating and stressful, and having a supportive community can make all the difference. I want to extend this welcoming environment to all students, where every student feels they belong.

Most importantly, I want to create more opportunities for myself to connect directly with students, hear their concerns, and turn their feedback into action.

My mission is simple: To make sure every student feels heard, supported, and connected.

Why Should You Vote For Me?

1. On October 13th at 9:00 AM, you will receive an email to your student account (ending in @mymacewan.ca) with a link regarding the Student Council. This link is different for every student.

2. Click on the link in the email, and navigate to vote. Select "Moina Bhatia" as one of your Student Councillors.

3. Submit. You should receive a voting receipt via email after you have successfully cast your vote.

Voting ends on October 14th at 4:00 PM!
