Amtgard is a free to play, Live Action Roleplay boffer combat game that features magic, monsters, and themed games. Imagine if your D&D campaign jumped off the page and into your local park. The Oceanside-based Amtgard group “Lost Cove” hosts the local chapter every Sunday to partake in themed battle games, and teaches you everything you need to know to play the game. Not into combat? There’s lots of other stuff to do, like arts, crafting, and socialization with the like-minded fantasy enthusiast community. Anyone 14+ can play, but all children under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult.
