Question 1

What does a session look like?

Accepted Answer

Led by qualified, experienced movement coaches we stick to small groups to allow for greater individual feedback. Each session we’ll work with parents to support their child’s development and build their confidence and trust. With a little patience, this can lead to magical moments like seeing your child ride a bike for the first time, or summit a climbing frame solo.
We use balance bikes, toys and other equipment to enhance skill development, and you can expect a calming and nurturing environment. Every session ends with gentle stretching and breath work.
Above all, our sessions are interactive, inclusive and fun!

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

The training programme is universal and can be applied to children with specific issues who need a little help, or anyone who wants to set their child up for success! Most children start their movement journey from 18 months and the more they practice, the easier it is to pick up essential life skills like running, riding a bike, climbing and swimming. Our sessions can also help with a range of activities like football, dancing, tennis and netball plus many more.

We have three age groups:
- Little Sailors (2-3 years)- finding their feet
- Little Skippers (3-4.5 years)- taking control
- Little Voyagers (4.5-6 years)- setting sail for adventures

Question 3

Where to find us?

Accepted Answer

We primarily use indoor venues to promote continuous development whatever the weather but love venturing outdoors when more space is needed! We like gyms and studios as the rubber matting designed to protect the floor from weights is perfect for little feet as it’s firm but not rough. All existing equipment is stored away from curious hands to create a safe and welcoming environment.

Question 4

How do I join?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are designed to take place as part of a structured programme, all-year round but loosely following the school calendar. We accept registrations at the start of the academic year in September then maintain a waiting list at our venues for existing sessions or new classes.

Sign up to our waitlist for updates!
