Who are you?

You can call me KellyFloppy! I’m a Brazilian artist who loves creating stories and turning ideas and concepts into art. I have an androgynous identity, but I’m completely comfortable with either she/her or he/him pronouns. My biggest dream is to share my stories with the whole world and eventually make a living from them.

Who are Kelly and Floppy?

Kelly is my original character, and she has been growing alongside me throughout my journey as an artist. She comes from a universe where animals and hybrids are caught in a war over superiority, with hybrids believing themselves to be above ordinary animals. She lost one of her ears and became blind in one eye after an accident during the war. She is also deaf in one ear and cannot move it properly.

Floppy is her pet, born from an experiment that attempted to transform animals into hybrids. He is a combination of several different animals and was the experiment’s only survivor. Near the end of the war, he escaped from the laboratory shortly before all evidence of the experiments was erased.

Are you a self-taught artist?

Yes! I started drawing traditionally at around nine years old, approximately in 2015, and began creating digital art at around thirteen, approximately in 2019. I tried taking an art course once, but I became frustrated by how limiting it felt. I have always loved having creative freedom, experimenting on my own, and respecting my personal pace of growth.

Do your pieces usually have a story behind them?

Unless I’m working on a commission, I rarely feel motivated to draw something that is not connected to a story or an event from my own life. I love expressing and releasing my feelings through art, but I try to transform them into something more than a simple vent. I want my artwork to communicate those emotions and allow other people to feel or understand them too.

What is one random fact about you as an artist?

What kind of art do you create?

Accepted Answer

I mainly create furry art, including illustrations, animations, comics, and similar projects. At first glance, my work may look cute and SFW, but I promise that I often explore much heavier subjects, sometimes through NSFW content. Still, that is not the only kind of art I create.

Do you only draw furry characters?

Accepted Answer

No! Furry art is my main focus because I find it to be an incredibly flexible form of expression, but I’m not limited to furry characters.

What programs do you use to draw and animate?

Accepted Answer

I mainly use Clip Studio Paint for illustrations and OpenToonz for animation. I rarely use FlipaClip for animations, occasionally use ibisPaint, and—very rarely, but it does happen—I use GIMP to add certain effects.

What drawing tablet do you use?

I currently use a Wacom Intuos BT S, which I got from my boyfriend not long ago. It has quickly become my main drawing companion!

Who are your biggest artistic inspirations?

Sashley has always been one of my biggest inspirations, although my style has moved quite far away from hers over time. You can still see some of that influence in my work, but lately I have been inspired by many different artists. For art style, I’m inspired by @jayrnski, @CHERRY_BERIES, @MintCashew, and alex_the_ferret. For rendering, I look up to @pikatl, SpectroliteAAA, leomkofficial, and alex_the_ferret. For animation, my main inspirations include Sir Fluff and @sxshely. When it comes to humor, I’m especially inspired by xyferdoll and @sxshely.

It is highly recommended, especially if you are interested in purchasing artwork or working with me. But if you are interested in simple and personal work, you can simply read the simplified version! Seriously, you don't need to read all that stuff... But if you are willing to purchase a more complex, commercial or/and merchandise comm, the complete version is for you! By purchasing artwork, a design, a license, or any other creative service, you confirm that you have read and accepted the applicable Terms of Service. However, you are always welcome to contact me and ask questions even if you have not read the full document.

Can people talk to you outside of work-related subjects?

Absolutely—please do! I’m open to making friends, especially with other artists. I would love to expand my view of the community by meeting people with different perspectives, experiences, and creative goals.

Please include a clear description of what you need, visual references, intended use, relevant deadlines, budget expectations, and any specific requirements. More complete information helps me evaluate the request accurately.

What kind of content do you create?

Accepted Answer

I create both SFW (Safe for Work) and NSFW (Not Safe for Work) artwork, including cute, mature, dark, horror, gore, fetish, and sensitive themes. Extremely graphic or demanding content may require an additional fee, and I may still refuse anything beyond my personal limits.

No. I reserve the right to decline any request based on availability, subject matter, project suitability, personal boundaries, ethical concerns, or other professional considerations.
