Please help identify a young Jane Doe found near Finley Creek in Elgin, Oregon on August 27, 1978.

On August 27, 1978, hunters found the skeletal remains of a young woman in the woods near Elgin, OR, on a hillside across a creek near Ruckle Road. She was 17–25 years old, 5’1”–5’3”, 115–125 lbs, with sandy brown or blonde hair, and possibly pregnant.

In 1990, the case was closed and evidence destroyed, with the Jane Doe and possible baby’s remains cremated.

In 2021, Suzanne Timms saw a sketch of the Jane Doe online and believed it resembled her missing mother, Patricia Otto. She believes the Jane Doe is Patricia, but testing has yet to confirm this due to limited evidence.
