Why work with an independent agent or broker instead of going straight to one insurance company?

A: A single company can only offer you its own policies and rates. I'm not tied to one carrier, so I can compare several and match you to the one that fits your health, age, and loan. Carriers price health conditions differently, so the best fit varies from person to person. Applying with the wrong one can mean paying more or being turned down. It costs you nothing extra either way, because the carrier pays my commission from the premium. After you sign, I'm also here to help with beneficiary changes and questions, and to make sure a claim goes smoothly for your family.
