The District 2 Community Advisory Board brings together stakeholders in the community to support the prevention of HIV and the care of individuals that are currently living with HIV/AIDS. The CAB is open to the public.

The Provider Tool kit contains a Welcome Letter, a Practitioners Guide to PrEP, an English and Spanish flyer promoting PrEP, and the CDC Clinician Quick Guide for PrEP. These forms serve to educate Providers on the basics of what PrEP is, who is eligible, medical considerations when exploring possible PrEP candidates, the current PrEP medications on the market and a guide on how to prescribe medications that are most effective for the presenting patient. These guides also outline the follow up care, monitoring and patient support that is needed to ensure medication adherence and success. 

Our hope for this Provider Tool Kit is that it will bring clarity to the process of becoming a PrEP Provider and ultimately increase the access to PrEP medication across the 13 counties that District 2 serves. We hope that you will partner with us to continue our mission through HIV prevention and promote health and wellness within the communities we serve.
