I spent over three months searching for a new place to live after noisy neighbors moved in next door to my previous apartment. I looked everywhere, from Greenpoint and Long Island City to Forest Hills before coming across an ad for CORE REGO in Rego Park. I’m so glad I did. From my very first tour with the leasing agent, I knew I had finally found the perfect building, location, and apartment. CORE REGO truly has it all, parking, a full gym, yoga room, bike storage, and a doorman who ensures my packages are safe. My two-bedroom apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows, a washer/dryer, central air, and stunning views of both Queens and Manhattan. For the price, I couldn’t find better value anywhere. The location is ideal, just minutes from major highways and trains, and only about 15 minutes into the city, giving me the best of both worlds. The management team is outstanding, and Kyle has been an absolute pleasure to work with, always making sure any issues are resolved right away. If you’re considering a move, CORE REGO should be at the top of your list!

I’ve been checking out some nearby buildings as I consider moving.

This is brand new building and It’s got a gym, yoga room, bike storage, indoor playground for kids, a library, and a big outdoor space with awesome city views.

One thing I really like is that the bike room’s right by the street, so it’s super easy to park and go. $15 for the bike room. The amenity fee is $70 a month, but you only pay for the months you actually use it, which is nice. Utilities are a flat $200–$270 depending on the apartment—not bad if you run the AC a lot like I do!

Rent is a little higher than other places nearby (about $50–$100 more), but they’re offering 15 months for the price of 12, so it ends up being a good deal. Not all the amenities are finished yet, but they’re only charging the amenity fee once everything’s ready. For now, the gym and yoga room are already open, which are the main ones I’d use anyway.

The location is great—quiet but still really convenient. It’s an 8 mins walk to Rego Mall, with Costco and a supermarket right crossing street. Feels like a good balance between peaceful and practical.

New high rise apartment building recently opened on 63rd Road, Rego Park, Queens.

Unfortunately the ventilation system of the garage is extremely loud. It sounds worse than the engine of a bus idling continuously on the street.

To make it worse the noise never stops not even at night when it should be a quiet time. Of course the quality of life of people living in the surrounding buildings is affected by this continues noise.

Something is not be right with the ventilation system, some sound insulation needed and to be turned down at night time.

There are hundreds of buildings all over the city with larger garages but you don’t hear a sound from their ventilation, not the case with this new building.

Really, nobody from CORE Management Team, Engineers, Architects is not at all interested by the fact that the ventilation of this brand new building  sounds like a plane ready for take off?
For the neighboring buildings, COREREGO is a non-stop nightmare. The loud waverly sound can be heard to 100 yards.
Please show some care and respect for your neighbors and do something to fix this problem.

DISGUSTING. Welcome to the neighborhood, I guess. This place dropped a massive industrial ventilation system right next to residents, and it’s unbearably loud—like a plane taking off 24/7. How do you build a brand-new building with absolutely zero respect for the surrounding neighborhood?

Then comes the money grab. Electric bills start at $200+ in the winter, which is beyond laughable. They call it “highly competitive,” but let’s be honest—they’re pocketing the extra cash. On top of that, you’re nickel-and-dimed with a pet fee, gym fee, parking fee, bike storage fee—fees on fees on fees.

And spare us the generic “thank you for your feedback” replies on Google. Address the NOISE DISTURBANCE. This isn’t a minor inconvenience—it’s a daily quality-of-life issue.
