recently bought a kindle. Buying process was smooth and delivery fast - very happy with this, and it was a great price! A small criticism is the communications before hand as I wanted to buy the kindle and collect on the same day from their office - this wasnt handled as smoothly as it could have been. I then went for the delivery option - but overall I would be a returning client.

I ordered a CAT phone that was NOT listed as "out of stock". I paid for the phone. I received confirmation of my other on 1st February 2026. After numerous emails, I was informed that they were unable to source the phone. Further emails ensued & the order was officially cancelled by Connected Devices on 16th March with an undertaking to send me a full refund within 10 days. I've been very understanding, making allowance for Easter weekend &, maybe, they meant 10 working-days, but I can still not get access to a person in authority who can just simply make an EFT into the account that I've sent to them in one of my emails. I've tried emails & called Connected Devices on a few occasions, but no-one seems to be able to return the payment for the phone that was supposed, by default in the advert, to have been in stock. To date, I still have no money or a phone - which order they cancelled. I've explained a couple of times to an embarrassed telephonic that, if I go through my lawyer, that cost to them will be more than my payment. I have left the matter with the telephonic who will speak to her senior & they, but this amount of irritation & delay is not reasonable. Connected Devices feels like a scan where someone is living of the interest of the money that is sent to them as payment for goods. It is impossible to get to the people who have the authority to simply make the payment of the refund.

I cancelled my order on 23 February when there was a delay with the suppliers. I followed up on 6 March to be told that it takes 12 Business Days for refunds to be processed. It is 10 April today and I still have not received my refund! I get the same response as many other people who have left reviews: "It was escalated and we're waiting for management to get back to us". I feel sorry for the support team who has to face the music. Fahmeda is amazing, but she's being left out to dry with no responses from the company on customer's complaints. Had I not followed up again, I would not have expected them to get back to me and happily keep my money. I recommend you get my refund sorted out, before I involve my lawyer to ensure you pay back my money WITH INTEREST!
