All in all, we absolutely loved our stay. The peacefulness of this small island is something truly special, and having a very good restaurant just a short walk away made it perfect.

The room was functional and had a classic motel character, but everything was clean, well maintained, and not worn out at all. We even had a room with a large kitchen, which was a big plus. The amenities were excellent, and the value for money was unbeatable.

The small private harbor with its boardwalk was beautiful and incredibly quiet — we had the entire place to ourselves and enjoyed complete peace and relaxation. Everything is there if you enjoy fishing: boats, a fish-cleaning station, and you can even buy fresh shrimp directly at the marina.

And then the absolute highlight: I was standing there, calmly looking out over the water, when a dolphin suddenly swam by. In the harbor, pelicans paid us a peaceful, gentle visit as well. Truly magical moments that made this place unforgettable.

We were greeted in a very friendly and polite way, and the next day the owner stopped by for a lovely conversation. Everyone was so warm and welcoming that we’re already planning our next stay.

Fabulous place to stay. Room was super clean and comfortable and had a great old school Florida feeling in the best way!. Very quiet area to fish and explore. Laura Lynn was beyond amazing and helpful. We met one of the owners, super nice guy. At Laura Lynn’s recommendation we went out into the Everglades with Captain Kent. Fishing and wandering. He was terrific. Very beautiful. We hope to return soon!

What a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect. So beautiful and quiet. The sunset view was remarkable. The island is one I look forward to returning. Aaron was so kind and lended my son some fishing gear he forgot to bring. Laura Lynn was a delight as she took care of us very well. We met Gavin right as we were checking out. What a wonderful group of people. They all took time to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you! Hope to see you again!!

This is the best place you could possibly choose to stay. It was a last minute decision to stay here on this island I’d never heard of and now I can’t wait to come back and visit time and time  again for the rest of my life. There’s a reason the reviews are so good, book it. Aaron is the best host in the world. Chokoloskee Island is so unique and full of character. An unforgettable experience and a room all in one

If I could rate our stay 10/10 I would! We had such a great time at the parkway motel and exploring the area. The rooms were so cute, clean and had more than enough space. They truly thought of every last detail to make you comfy during your stay. The room rate was far less than any other hotel we stayed in during our trip to Florida and this was by far the best experience! Aaron and his team made our stay extra special and memorable and we cannot thank them enough, we had such a great time. We had lunch at the HavAnna Cafe and it was delicious as well. We have nothing but great things to say - skip the stay in everglades city and go to chokoloskee to stay here instead!

What a gem of a place. A total sleeper as It’s so deceiving from the outside but not only we’re the staff  extremely accommodating but the room was immaculate! Had the best sleep I’ve had in years. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area! Thanks for the great experience.
