Alex And Andy was born from a moment of heartbreak — and a decision to choose hope anyway. In June 2020, Uncle Andy survived a massive stroke that changed everything. After multiple brain surgeries and months in rehabilitation, he was moved into assisted living, where he required around-the-clock care. In a quiet hallway conversation about selling his belongings just to afford therapy, a promise was made: we would find another way. A few months later, Sophie sat on the couch beside Alex — Andy’s beloved dog, who she was fostering during his recovery. Alex wore a simple, inexpensive bandana. And in that moment, a thought became a spark: What if we made bandanas to help raise money for Andy’s care? Sophie shared Andy’s story and Alex’s bond on TikTok. She shared the mission. She shared the heart. And within hours, the video went viral. Orders followed. Support poured in. And what began as a small fundraiser became something much bigger. That is how Alex And Andy began.
