Alessandro D’Alessandro and Ghiaccioli e Branzini are Banditori, a project that explores the boundary between archetype and avant-garde, between sonic memory and electronic experimentation.
Inspired by the cries of street vendors — once the soundtrack of everyday Italian life — Banditori reimagines these voices as a form of contemporary sonic ethnography, where D’Alessandro’s “prepared” diatonic accordion engages with the layered grooves and analog textures of Ghiaccioli e Branzini.
From the sounds of ancient markets to the pulse of modern clubs, Banditori turns traditional calls into a hypnotic sonic ritual, blending acoustic and electronic instruments in trance-like rhythms and collective tension.
A musical journey where archaic Italy meets the electronic future.
