The Partners in Prevention Project (PIPP) is a grant-funded initiative supported by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). The project focuses on preventing youth substance use in Burke, Jones, and Richmond counties through the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). Our focus areas include: 

- Alcohol (Underage Drinking) 
- Prescription Drug Misuse 
- Electronic Cigarette Usage  

By engaging schools, families, and community partners, PIPP promotes healthy decision-making and builds sustainable prevention capacity in our communities! 

What is PIPP?

The Augusta University Suicide Prevention Group (SPG) and PIPP work in collaboration to hold monthly coalition meetings in Jones County. Our coalition/workgroup works together for a common goal of mobilizing the community to prevent substance use and mental health.
