We meet regularly at bars, rooftops, galleries, theatres and cultural events across Sydney.

Our intention is simple — to create relaxed, enjoyable experiences where women can:

— Connect and meet new people
— Unwind and have fun
— Enjoy great venues, food and drinks (pay-as-you-go)
— Keep things easy, affordable and not too late
·
✨ Main events are held every 2 months
✨ Additional smaller, social/theatre or arts-related events are offered to Premium members in between the main events.

Why was Aperol Schvitz started?

Aperol Schvitz was created during COVID, when many of us felt disconnected - missing the joy of going out, sharing experiences and being with great people.

Aperol Schvitz was created to:

— Make socialising easy again
— Support arts, culture & venues
— Create connection at this stage of life
— Remove the hassle of organising
— Bring joy, lightness and fun back in

What began as a small idea has grown into a vibrant community of over 100+ wonderful women, with around 15–30 attending each event.

What do the events look like? How do they work?

For all arts events (theatre, exhibitions, shows) — we organise a social drink or bite before or after, so it’s not just the event, it’s the connection around it.

For social gatherings, everyone simply pays their own food & drinks (no minimum spend, no pressure).
·
For theatre tickets:

– If no group discount → you pay the standard ticket price + theatre booking fee
– If group discount available → I pass on the discounted rate + booking fee

Deb Meyer is the founder of Aperol Schvitz — a natural connector who brings people together with warmth, intuition and creativity.

She’s also the Managing Director of Vogue & Vine, an award-winning landscape design studio.

With a background in theatre, education and creative production, Deb has spent over 20 years creating experiences that connect people — from performances to storytelling events to community initiatives.
