If you are unable to access the WVT Welcome, please email induction@wvt.nhs.uk and this can be looked into.

I have not received my ESR Log in, who can I contact?

Accepted Answer

This should have been sent through to you by your Recruitment Officer around the same time that you received your Induction invitation. Please check your junk email box as it may have gone there.

If still not received or it is not working, please email WorkforceInformationSystems@wvt.nhs.uk or contact 01432 801929 and they will be able to provide you with this

I am having problems with my e-learning, who can I contact?

In the first instance, please consult our Education LinkTree page which has many useful e-learning guides and support documents to help you with e-learning.

However, if still struggling, please email elearning@wvt.nhs.uk and support can be provided

I have been sent an invitation to attend Basic Life Support training, where do I go for this?

This training takes place at the Johnson's Hospital (Near Occupational Health) Reference 12 on the Site Map which is provided on this LinkTree page.

How do I get a name badge?

Name badges are arranged through your line manager.

Question 6

How do I order my uniform?

Accepted Answer

Uniform can be ordered via the below request form. This form includes sizing guides and videos on how to measure yourself:

However, please note, we do not order for the below. Uniform will need to be arranged through your line manager if you work in any of these wards/departments:
 ~AHP's
 ~ Audiology
 ~ Children's Ward
 ~ Community Wards
 ~ Dermatology
 ~ ED and A&E
 ~ MRU
 ~ Maternity
 ~ Radiology
Once delivered, the Induction Team will send you an email to inform you and arrange a time slot for you to collect from the Education Admin Office.

Question 7

How do I get an ID Badge

Accepted Answer

If you are a HCSW attending the 4 day programme in Education, this will be produced for you, using the passport style photo that you have emailed through to the Induction team. You will be informed when this is ready for collection

All other staff will need to fill out the below form and send a photo through to GeneralOffice@wvt.nhs.uk. They will then inform you when it is ready for collection

Question 8

I cannot attend the Basic Life Support session that has been arranged for me, what shall I do?

Basic Life Support is a mandatory requirement and will need to be completed before you start in your role. However, if you cannot attend, please inform your line manager and email resustraining@wvt.nhs.uk and an alternative session will then be arranged for you

I have booked for a course via ESR which I cannot attend, how can I cancel this?

Accepted Answer

This can be cancelled on your ESR Learner Homepage. You will need to log into your ESR and access your Learner Homepage, under the 'My E-Learning' Section.

Once on there, you will see all of the courses that you are booked for under 'My Current Instructor-Led Enrolments'. If you click on the course you wish to cancel, you will see a drop down box at the top right of the screen that says; Select an Action.

If you click on this and select Unenrol, you will then need to select a reason for cancelling. Once selected, your place will then be cancelled.

Question 10

I am moving from another Trust, do I have to repeat my training?

Accepted Answer

No. You should not have to. This should be automatically transferred over to your WVT ESR account, please allow up to 5 working days after your start date for this. If it has not transferred over, please email induction@wvt.nhs.uk and this can be looked into for you.

Question 11

I have done my mandatory training in my previous job, can this be accepted?

Accepted Answer

This is not an automatic process and would require you to send us through a screenshot of certificates from your previous job. Once we have received these, we can then review to check if they can be accepted and will get back to you as soon as possible.
