I've spent my entire Life volunteering in and outside Politics. Growing up, I was heavily involved in Scouting, earning my Eagle in 2004. My family moved to Maryland in 2006, halfway through my Junior year in High School. I graduated with Honors from Kent Island High School in 2008. 

I was able to attend West Virginia Wesleyan College after being awarded a Community Service Scholarship (Bonner Scholars Program and AmeriCorps) with a focus on Poverty Alleviation and Early Childhood Education. 
After moving to Georgia in 2013, I served on the Board of Meals on Wheels of Coweta, where I helped lead the successful effort to buy our own Building. I was also elected 1st Vice Chair of the Coweta County Democratic Party (2014-2018), 3rd Congressional Vice Chair (2016-2018), 3rd Congressional District Chair (2018-2021), Member of the Executive Committee- Democratic Party of Georgia (2018-2021), and Vice Chair of the Georgia Rural Caucus (2018-2020). 

Political and Community Involvement

Since moving back to Maryland in 2021, Jimmy has been involved in Anne Arundel Democratic politics. He has served as the Treasurer for the District 33 Democratic Club and has volunteered and advised on many campaigns in 2022 and 2024. 

Jimmy moved to Georgia in 2013, and got involved in Democratic Politics very quickly in Georgia. He was elected to the Coweta County Democratic Party Board in 2014 and served as 1st Vice Chair from 2014-2018. In 2018, Jimmy was elected to be the 3rd Congressional District Chair and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Georgia. In his time as 3rd CD Chair, he oversaw 11 County parties, helping recharter several, and helped elect 2 Democratic Senators, and help Georgia deliver 16 Electoral College votes to Joe Biden in 2020. 

Originally from Minnesota, Jimmy moved to Maryland in 2006, Graduated from Kent Island High School in 2008. He holds an MBA from Western Governor's University, and works as a Plant Controller in Curtis Bay.
