Both of our cosplays are original characters (OCs) created by each of us. Together we created our act, The FunGals.

We are a duo-act. We don’t have plans on expanding our act to encompass more characters at this time. We highly recommend auditioning at your local renaissance faire when their cast calls go out!

How did you get started?

Both of us auditioned separately for the Carolina Renaissance Festival (CRF) in 2024 during their open cast call. We created our characters and began taking the first year cast classes/ attending rehearsals. We immediately clicked in the Character Development Class and began forming our act. We developed a 3-part performance that we honed over many many hours of performing. We won a cast award for Best New Characters in 2024, as well as outstanding performance recognition in 2024 and 2025. Since our first season at CRF, we have expanded to perform at several faires across the South. In April 2025 we began creating content for social media and in September 2025, we leaned into content creation.

We are Bluebelle the mushroom fairy and Prysim the painting fairy. Together, we are the FunGals! We perform at ren faires across the South 🍄🧚‍♀️✨
