Nicolina Maio is a self-taught vocalist and songwriter whose music feels like a memory you can almost touch. Raised on the voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys, Musiq Soulchild, and Frank Ocean, she learned by listening, emulating, and singing for hours at home after years in choral practice. Her songs—recorded mostly in bedroom spaces with minimal production—create a quiet world of their own: transportive, familiar, and gently haunting, like a place you’ve known forever but can’t quite name. Having spent the past nine years living minimally as a nomadic world traveler, she has made music from solitude, survival, and longing. Her voice brings immediate ease, like a healing balm over old wounds, carrying both sorrow and comfort in equal measure. Now, after being saved by Jesus Christ, she is entering a new era of songwriting devoted to praise, worship, and glorifying His name.She is currently working on new studio-recorded material for release.
