Margate Queer Library & Archiv

Margate Queer Library & Archive is built on shared care. From preserving our histories to holding space for community, everything we do relies on ongoing, collective support. A standing order helps us: • Keep the library running - support rent, utilities, and day-to-day costs. • Provide free refreshments - ensure tea, coffee, and a welcoming space for everyone. • Buy requested books - make sure the collections reflect what our community wants and needs. • Replace damaged or lost books - keep our archives and shelves in good shape. • Grow our community - in less than a year, we've welcomed almost 200 members and added over 800 books. A standing order is a small, steady act of queer care & solidarity. It helps us preserve radical histories, share knowledge, and make space for the futures we're building together. Thank you!
