On 8/11, City Council’s NPD Committee was slated hear an ordinance on a Data Center Transparency Task Force. That morning, we confirmed that the ordinance was removed from the agenda. Over 150 Kansas Citians sent emails asking NPD to reject the task force. Having it removed is a win. We can now more easily pursue a data center ban without the bureaucracy and delay of a task force.
