I am booked for a session on MS Teams but have not received a link, what can I do?

Please note, that all MS Teams links are sent to your WVT email address on the Friday before your session. This can then be forwarded through to your preferred email address, if required.
If it is the week of your training and you have still not received the MS Teams link, please email education@wvt.nhs.uk

I am booked for a classroom session, where is this taking place?

This training will take place at the Education & Development Centre at the back of the hospital near the Library.

Question 3

I have Blood Transfusion Observations in Practice on my ESR, how is this completed?

Accepted Answer

This is completed in your work area with your ward sister/line manager. When you attend the theory session, you will receive a workbook to complete and then once completed, please email this to Margaret.Kevern@wvt.nhs.uk and your ESR will be updated

I have attended a Blood Transfusion course but my ESR has not been updated?

Please note, that registers can take up to 5 working days to be updated. If it has been longer than this and still not updated, please email education@wvt.nhs.uk and this can be looked into.

Question 5

I can no longer attend the course, how can I cancel my place?

Accepted Answer

This can be cancelled on your ESR Learner Homepage. You will need to log into your ESR and access your Learner Homepage, under the 'My E-Learning' Section.

Once on there, you will see all of the courses that you are booked for under 'My Current Instructor-Led Enrolments'. If you click on the course you wish to cancel, you will see a drop down box at the top right of the screen that says; Select an Action.

If you click on this and select Unenrol, you will then need to select a reason for cancelling. Once selected, your place will then be cancelled.
