Zid Yarcia

Zid Yarcia is a Baritone artist who recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a Bachelor’s degree in Music. He has received numerous awards, including the 2022 Gawad Tsanselor sa Natatatanging Mag-aaral and was named one of the Ten Outstanding Students of Makati in 2016. Zid excelled in competitions, becoming a multi-medalist at the 2018 World Championships of Performing Arts in California and winning First Place (Baritone) at the 2022 King's Peak International Music Competition. He made his opera debut in 2024 with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale and was part of the original cast in Repertory Philippines’ “Going Home to Christmas – A Jose Mari Chan Musical.” An alumnus of the Philippine Madrigal Singers and Don Bosco Makati's Boscorale, Zid inspires others through performances and workshops. He is also an artist of the Philippine Opera Company and sings with the Male Ensemble Philippines.
