Wolf Pack Taiko is a student-run drumming ensemble for the University of Nevada, Reno - founded by Juliann Schultz and Lisa Cervantes in Spring 2022. "Taiko" is the Japanese word for drum, and our club specializes in "kumidaiko," which translates to group drumming. We are an organization dedicated to sharing the Japanese percussive art of ensemble taiko drumming with the university and greater community. In the process, we hope to welcome students to a fun, supportive community, as well as spread awareness of Japanese, Japanese-American, and Asian-American culture. We are open to ALL students, and we teach from scratch - NO experience is required. If you're interested in learning, please fill out this form and we'll get back to you with more information! Thank you for your interest! We are also on social media! Follow our Instagram @wolfpacktaiko!
