How does DASH work?

When you find the item you've gotta have, it's easy to stake your claim: Next minimum bid and minimum bid increments are listed on the item. Keep in mind, there is NO MAX BID FUNCTIONALITY. The amount you bid, is the amount you will be charged if you are the winner when the auction closes.

Auction Items
Simply hit "Place Bid". In the bidding interface that appears, type the amount you wish to bid and hit "Submit."

Buy It Now and Ticket Items
Simply hit "Buy". In the purchase interface that appears, tap the plus or minus button to set the quantity you want to purchase and hit "Submit."

As long as we already have your information, your purchase will complete.

**Please note that items can have restrictions on the quantity purchased per transaction. This is set by the selling organization.

What is DASH?

Do I need an account?

An account is not required to look at auction items, but is required to bid.

What is required in order to place a bid?

Accepted Answer

A DASH account with a valid shipping address and credit card is required to bid on auction items. Be game day ready by setting this up before the big showdown.

When you add a payment method, DASH will validate your card to ensure you are using a valid payment method (just like when you pay for gas at the pump!) This charge will never leave the pending status and will not post to your account. The charge will fall off in 1-2 business days.

What is 'Overtime' on DASH?

We hate it when bids get sniped at the last minute too. To help prevent this, we created Overtime where you can drop the gloves and go for gold.

Overtime starts if you are the high bidder on an item and another bidder places a bid in the last 60 seconds of auction. At least 2 bidders make it to Overtime, but sometimes more!

If you're lucky enough to make it to Overtime, you'll have 2 minutes to battle it out with other top bidders!

The OT window will display both the “Current Bid” and “Your Bid”. OT is the only time you can “Up the Ante” by upping your current bid throughout the two minute window.

Your highest bid is the amount you will be charged, even if no one bids against you.

Can I change my Overtime bid?

Yes, but only within the two minute OT window. When the clock strikes 00:00 OT is over. Remember, there is no max bid functionality so the bids you make, are the amount you will be charged when the auction closes if you are crowned winner.

I have a question about my particular team's item and/or shipping concern...

DASH is 3rd party transaction provider. Teams hosting the activation are responsible for the fulfillment of all items. Any refund requests and/or disputes must go directly through the team, not DASH.
