WHAT IS RAMP?

Ramp is the new Vendor Portal Network for the USPA. This new portal allows you to securely manage your vendor documents, personal information, address, banking details, tax forms, contracts, and invoices all in one place.

You will be authorized to securely update your information whenever it changes by validating your identity using the 2-factor authentication feature. We will no longer accept changes to your information via forms, emails, or phone calls.

WHAT VENDOR NAME SHOULD I USE FOR RAMP?

Accepted Answer

This name must be the legal name of the person or business receiving the payment. This should be the same legal name registered with the IRS if you have a U.S. Tax ID Number (EIN or SSN) or the Foreign individual name or business.

This name must also be the approved payment recipient of the PDI funds listed on the application.

Question 3

WHAT NAME SHOULD BE ON THE IRS W-9 FORM?

Accepted Answer

For IRS reporting purposes, the name on your W-9 must match the name associated with the Tax ID number (SSN or EIN) in IRS records — not necessarily the name registered with your state.

If the name and Tax ID do not match IRS records, Ramp will reject the information through IRS TIN-matching causing payment delays.

If you are unsure, we recommend confirming how your entity is structured for federal tax purposes with your tax advisor or contact the IRS directly.

Question 4

WHAT EMAIL ADDRESS IS NEEDED FOR RAMP?

Accepted Answer

This is very important because the email address you enter will become your Ramp login email and be setup with a password. The person using the email address must be able to complete the vendor tax details and payment information. That same email address will also have the capability of updating bank information and submitting invoices.

Please submit the correct email address that can be used for a long period of time.

Question 5

WHAT PHONE NUMBER SHOULD I ENTER FOR RAMP?

Accepted Answer

The 2 factor authentication requires one cell phone number that can receive sms text messages or phone calls containing validation codes to use when logging into Ramp. Make sure this is a phone number you can access quickly.
