Professionally hand tied on a size 2/0, SL12-S, one of Gamakatsu’s most popular hooks for tying tarpon, billfish and other big game flies. Intended for trophy-class, saltwater species, this is a multi-use, multi-species fly hook that will work for any type of large fish that is being targeted. The Peanut Butter comes in at approximately 3.5-inches, has a wide hook gape, and has a distinctly sparse, yet larger profile than the EP Perfect Minnow. Available in a multitude of color patterns, the action on this fly is absolutely stunning, enticing predatory fish from baby tarpon to largemouth bass and everything in between to eat in both freshwater and the salt.

A timeless classic dry fly leader, and when it comes to dry fly fishing nothing is more important than the leader. Harvey designed his leader to land with curves and swirls. The slack these provide feed the dead drift and make everything work as it should. One of our customers put it best in saying: "I love my Harvey leader. The trademark shape of the spoon on a custom bent size 2 salt water hook creates an affect that fish simply cannot resist. These professionally hand tied flies are approximately 1-inch in hook length, and 2-inches with the flash tail. Coated in UV resin, they are durable and built to last. The spoon fly has been a must-have in every saltwater or freshwater fly box for a reason, they catch fish and lots of them. Imitating a crustacean or a struggling baitfish, predatory fish just can't resist it's flicker and it's low frequency vibration as it moves through the water.

This is our absolute favorite leader for swinging, and light nymphing. The 8' long leader eliminates the need for a traditional strike indicator, as it has a 1/2" piece of Rio Kahuna LT indicator material built into the butt section of the leader. The Micro Minnow is tied on a size 4, Mustad S71SNP-DT hook. Designed for salt or freshwater, these bomb proof flies are about as durable as they come. Tied with fully synthetic materials, and coated in UV resin, these flies have proven to be one of the biggest producers that we no matter what the conditions. Given the price point, effectiveness, and the durability, these absolutely need to be in any fly box. Note: We have heard from our crappie guys that these are phenomenal crappie baits as well.
