The hotel has a charming rustic vibe that blends beautifully with its surroundings. We opted for a pool villa, and the experience was truly surreal. If you're staying here, make sure to set aside some time to explore the entire property at sunrise—the views and atmosphere are absolutely worth it.<br>The food is decent, and the staff are exceptionally courteous and attentive. You can also rent a scooter directly from the hotel reception, which is a convenient way to explore the area.

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience at Payogen Villa Ubud. This property is not suggestable at all and turned out to be a complete waste of money.||The room condition was very poor. The air conditioning was not cooling the room properly from the start. It was clearly not working efficiently, possibly due to lack of gas. When I raised a complaint, there was no serious action taken. Despite multiple follow-ups, nothing was fixed. Instead of resolving the issue or offering a proper solution like a room change, they only provided 2 fans for the entire night.||This stay was booked for 3 nights, and even after being informed that the issue would be fixed the next day, nothing was done when we returned from our tour. The same problem continued throughout the stay, making it extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep.||The service quality was also very poor. Even basic amenities like hand towels were not provided, and the staff clearly stated they do not offer any type of hand towels, which is unacceptable for any villa-level accommodation.||Overall, this was a very bad experience. Poor maintenance, poor service, and zero proper response from management. Definitely not recommended and a complete waste of money.
