It was OK, I would not return again. Went here because of all the great reviews so thought we would give it a go. It's basically a tourist trap, the food dishes are very small and very average. I've eaten out at a lot of places and I also cook a lot, so I can tell when things are just frozen, out of a can and just layered up to look nice, when in fact they are just very cheap ingredients with a massive mark up. The steak was a very cheap cut of meat which was chewy, the peach desert (that everyone keeps mentioning) is just peach out of a tin can with some cheap tinned single cream, then put into an iron dish and presented as an oven baked peach desert, the iron dish was stone cold. If oven baked it would have come sizzling hot. I don't mind paying good money for food but when you are tricked into paying for cheap rubbish dressed up as high end food it is very annoying. Also, our desert had a taste of garlic as the dishes had clearly been used for other main dishes, iron dishes hold onto flavour that's why they are used to cook steak.<br><br>Tourist trap, much better places to eat out of old town. Food was delicious, but our waiter was rude for no reason. My husband ordered a pitcher of sangria and the waiter made a face, and rudely said: is that all? My husband replied we would like to start with that, then order food. Very strange, even at the end when asking us to include service he was not friendly. I saw other waiters being very friendly with the customers though. Overall the atmosphere was lacking, just a projected image of flamenco dancers on the stone wall.

This was the best dining experience I've had in Panama. The food was not just amazing but it came very fast and incredibly fresh. The taste and flavors were everything we were hoping for, a true taste of Panama. Juan was absolutely great, very polite (as were all the staff) and gave us great service.<br><br>The live music and dancer were the cherry on top of an amazing experience.<br><br>Ps. The Sangria was huge, strong and delicious!
